Job summary

SpartanNash, operating locally as Family Fare, seeks a dedicated team member to stock and display products, assist guests, and maintain clean, well-stocked departments in our Grayling, MI location. You will follow safety, food safety, and guest-experience guidelines while supporting store operations.

Responsibilities include receiving merchandise, stocking shelves, and coordinating with management on orders. Prior retail experience and strong attention to detail are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving, unloading, and stacking merchandise in the back room.
• Fill, rotate, and merchandise shelves, cases and displays on sales floor.
• Notify the manager if products and supplies need to be ordered.
• Be familiar with all products carried in the departments and know product locations in the store.
• Handle spoiled/damaged products per established guidelines.
• Maintain clean, attractive, and well-stocked departments.
• Follow PPE and Safety Guidelines.
• Follow Food Safety and Cleaning Expectations.
• Follow Guest Experience Guidelines.
• May be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience needs.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
