Job summary

SpartanNash, operating Family Fare locations in Kalkaska, Michigan, seeks a part-time team member to stock and merchandise, ensuring shelves are well presented and guest experiences meet company standards.

You will assist with unloading, rotating stock, and maintaining clean, safe departments while following safety and food safety guidelines. Prior retail experience and a high school diploma are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (GED) preferred
• Retail or related experience preferred
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents
• Basic mathematical skills
• Detail oriented

Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving, unloading, and stacking merchandise in the back room.
• Properly fill, rotate and merchandise shelves, cases and displays on sales floor.
• Notify the manager if products and supplies need to be ordered.
• Have familiarity with all products carried in the departments and know the product locations in the store.
• Handle spoiled/damaged products per established guidelines.
• Maintain clean, attractive and well stocked departments. Follow all PPE and Safety Guidelines.
• Follow all Food Safety and Cleaning Expectations.
• Follow Guest Experience Guidelines.
• May be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience need.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
