TEL Staffing & HR is hiring for a DAY SHIFT Welder with aluminum fabrication experience in Milton, FL. Join a fast-paced cable manufacturing environment that supports growth in energy market components.

Ideal candidates have torch experience, at least one year welding/fabricating outside school, and a strong attention to detail. Safety, reliability, and ability to work long shifts are essential.

Qualifications

• High school degree preferred but not required.
• At least 1 year welding/fabricating experience outside school.
• Must have torch experience to cut bobbins.
• Must have aluminum experience.
• Completion of a relevant apprenticeship program is required.
• Professional certification (AWS) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and measurements to plan layout and procedures.
• Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
• Set up components for welding according to specifications.
• Operate welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal, overhead).
• Repair machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps.
• Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures for flaws.
