Job summary

Persona Signs, LLC is seeking a full-time welder to assemble and weld sign cabinets per shop drawings and install mounting provisions and angle iron bracing as shown.

You will read shop drawings, set weld parameters, and work with steel or aluminum frames; overtime may apply. Shift times vary; preventive maintenance and safety practices are required to maintain quality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Prior welding experience preferred.
• Able to read tape measures and perform simple math (percent, angles, radius, sq ft).
• Able to read and understand simple wiring diagrams and information in Job Packets.

Responsibilities

• Weld frames of either steel or aluminum, with correct welder settings for the material used.
• Operate cutting torch and plasma cutter.
• Install raceways.
• Operate crane, forklift and iron worker as needed.
• Weld dual shield.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Assemble and weld all sign cabinets to shop drawing specifications. Install mounting provisions and angle iron bracing per shop drawing.

Job Responsibilities

• Weld frames of either steel or aluminum, knowing correct welder setting for material used.


• Operate cutting torch and plasma cutter.


• Install raceways.


• Operate crane, forklift and iron worker as needed.


• Weld dual shield.


• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or GED required


• Prior welding experience is preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Cognitive thinking skills

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position with some overtime varying.

• First shift core hours are: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm M-F.


• Second shift hours are: 4:30 pm to 3:00 am M- Th.


• Weekend shift hours are: 5:00 am to 5:30 pm Fri, Sat, Sun
