Job summary

Shaw Industries Ltd. is seeking a Plant 3M | Utility - Shift 1 worker to maintain cleanliness and safety in a busy warehouse in Hanover, MD. The role operates a non-rotating 8-hour shift from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with a pay rate of $20.86 per hour.

Responsibilities include trash disposal, dock sweeps, aisle maintenance, and assisting with loading/unloading pallets. The company offers benefits such as medical/dental after 30 days, 401(k), paid vacation and sick leave.

Qualifications

• Maintain cleanliness and safety in warehouse operations.
• Willingness to work an 8-hour shift schedule.
• Attention to detail and reliability in daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Empty all trash cans daily and dispose of trash in the appropriate dumpster.
• Sweep the dock daily and remove debris, wood, cardboard, and other materials.
• Walk aisles and bulk storage areas to remove trash and damaged materials.
• Check and empty trash cans throughout the warehouse as needed.
• Keep railings, Lead Station areas, sample area, and pallets clean and organized.
• Keep recycling centers clean and ensure proper disposal of waste.
• Report unsafe storage areas and safety concerns to a supervisor.
• Assist with loading/unloading pallets and standby for battery changer duties.
