Job summary

Barrett Distribution Centers, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring safety, productivity, and accuracy in assigned accounts.

Reporting to the Assistant Operations Manager, you will organize staffing, supervise staff, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and drive process improvements using LEAPS tools.

This full-time role operates Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with a starting salary around $65K per year, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Some college preferred.
• Powered industrial equipment experience preferred.
• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse/distribution center.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, policies and procedures.
• Familiarity with 3PL, supply chain and transportation; MS Office & WMS skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily department goals in safety, sanitation, productivity, and quality across assigned areas.
• Provide supervision and direction to the team for day-to-day workflow, including staffing, scheduling, time, and attendance.
• Recruiting, interviewing, training needs assessment, coaching, and documenting performance.
• Ensure SOP training and conduct method observations per company standards.
• Balance labor and cross-coverage with LEAPS tools; coordinate with other supervisors.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation and system transactions for assigned areas.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate changes and issues to facility management in a timely manner.
• Lead start-up meetings and set daily goals and energy levels for the team.
