Erie Materials, a leading building materials distributor, is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to support residential and commercial deliveries of roofing and siding products. The role emphasizes safe material handling, efficient customer service, and teamwork within a fast-paced warehouse setting.

Responsibilities include reading orders, coordinating with dispatch, and maintaining organized warehouse spaces. A valid driver’s license is preferred and prior forklift experience is beneficial for

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Knowledge of building materials is preferred.
• Forklift and/or Moffett experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry building materials up to 100 pounds.
• Basic reading/writing and math skills required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate equipment to transport and pick up building materials at designated warehouse locations.
• Read work orders and invoices to determine product needs for pick-up or delivery.
• Communicate with customers, dispatchers and management; maintain professional demeanor.
• Read and interpret simple instructions and memos; perform necessary tasks.
• Maintain clean and organized warehouse areas and assist with other duties as needed.
