Job summary

You will read orders, prepare shipments, and assist with loading and unloading using a forklift, while maintaining safety and efficiency in daily warehouse operations.

Responsibilities include interacting with customers, dispatchers, and management to ensure accurate picks and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Knowledge of building materials preferred.
• Forklift and/or Moffett experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry building materials up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Strong basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate equipment to transport and pick up building materials at warehouse locations.
• Read work orders/invoices to determine product needs for customer pick-up or delivery.
• Frequently lift and carry materials up to 100 pounds.
• Operate forklift to load/unload and move stock.
• Maintain clean warehouse areas and organize materials.
