Job summary

Peet’s Coffee in Alameda, CA is seeking a Distribution Warehouse Associate II to support day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, replenishment, and staff training under supervision. The role reports to the department supervisor and follows a 1st shift (6AM-2:30PM).

Hourly rate ranges from $21 to $23, with potential bonuses. The position requires proficiency in Microsoft Office, safety procedures, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions accurately in English.
• Must be willing and able to work overtime as required, even on short notice.
• Proficient in safety procedures.
• Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail, sense of urgency, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse activities including pick, pack, ship, receive, put-away, cycle count, and inventory audit.
• Deliver and execute business initiatives as directed by leadership.
• Schedule and coordinate deliveries with transportation representatives.
• Research inventory discrepancies for dock, transfers and PO receipts.
• Utilize MHE including pallet movers, stand up forklifts, high lift reach trucks, and order pickers.
• Use RF scanners to perform warehouse activities.
• Conduct receiving and location audits and ensure proper documentation and storage.
