Job summary

Powertrain Industries, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Lead for the Day Shift to supervise receiving, staging, material movement, and shipping activities in a fast-paced facility in Virginia Beach.

You will lead a team, coordinate with leadership, train staff, ensure safety and quality standards, and drive continuous improvement and on-time fulfillment. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years prior warehouse experience.
• Preferred 5 years of prior warehouse experience; or 2 years with PTI.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate warehouse operations to ensure accurate inventory management, efficient material flow, and timely shipping and receiving.
• Collaborate with Warehouse Leadership and Operations to share updates, align on priorities, and ensure smooth handoffs.
• Schedule LTL and FTL shipments, work with carriers for on-time performance, and maintain shipping records that meet quality, customer, and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with Inventory Control Specialist to ensure proper storage, picking, and replenishment for accurate inventory and reliable fulfillment.
• Conduct training for new hires and cross-training for current staff, ensuring adherence to WI, SOPs, safety, and quality standards, with ongoing coaching.
• Support continuous improvement efforts, assist with special projects or audits, model professionalism and company values.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
