Job summary

Grainger in Phoenix is seeking a Distribution Center Associate to support inventory integrity and order processing, including picking, packing, staging, and shipping. You will report to a DC Supervisor and work Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to around 6:00 PM, in a fast-paced warehouse environment with emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds frequently.
• Comfortable standing for long periods with exposure to heat, cold, noise, and dust.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Warehouse or customer service experience in fast-paced environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely complete inbound and outbound warehouse tasks with attention to detail (unloading, sorting, labeling, replenishing, auditing, picking and packing).
• Ensure products are shipped correctly to meet quality and delivery expectations.
• Meet safety, quality, productivity, behavior, attendance, and overtime requirements.
• Operate computerized scanning equipment and maintain a clean, safe work environment per OSHA and hazardous material guidelines.
• Perform other tasks as directed by leadership.
