Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Warehouse Operations team member in La Vergne, TN. You will receive and fulfill orders to ensure customers have the products they need to care for patients.

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with overtime as needed. Training provided; emphasis on safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working at heights 20-30 ft.
• Able to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for an entire shift.
• Able to follow directions and adjust priorities.

Responsibilities

• Follow established process to fulfill orders, including picking, quality checks, packing and preparing shipments.
• Cross-training in multiple areas of the warehouse and participating in projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment (order picker, forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, walkie rider).

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

• Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required by job duty. Example equipment in the facility includes order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
