Cardinal Health, Inc. is hiring for a Warehouse Operations role with an anticipated hourly range of $20.60 to $21.20 per hour, including shift differential. The position involves receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and moving goods in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Typical shift is Monday through Thursday, 12:00pm to 10:00pm, with overtime as needed. The role requires handling heavy items, operating RF scanners, and using voice-picking systems to ensure accurate processing and timely

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years experience in a fast-paced distribution environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate heavy equipment safely.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive large boxes on warehouse dock, scan product with RF scanner, and input product information into computer.
• Break down cases of product and operate heavy equipment to replenish warehouse.
• Utilize voice pick system to select large case items and place on cart.
• Palletize large items for shipment and wrap for transport.
• Pack small items in boxes and prepare for shipping.
• Drive material handling equipment as required (e.g., forklift, cherry picker).
• Cross-train in inbound and outbound warehouse areas.

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for cross-training in multiple areas of the warehouse including inbound and outbound
• Receive large boxes on warehouse dock, scan product with RF scanner, and input product information into computer
• Break down cases of product and operate heavy equipment to replenish warehouse
• Utilize voice to pick system to pick large case items with material handling equipment or to pick small unit of measure items and place on cart
• Palletize large items to skid and wrap for shipment
• Pack small items in boxes
• Drive material handling equipment as required by job duty. Example equipment in the facility includes: order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift
• Ability to follow direction and change priorities
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• 1-2 years experience
• Proficient in Microsoft office preferred
• Mustbe flexible to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment while meeting established performance quotas and attendance requirements.
