Job summary

Cox Automotive - USA is seeking an Inspector I to inspect incoming vehicles for damage, verify information and complete documentation. The role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety standards at a Cox location.

The position titles ICP Level I exam completion and a valid driver’s license are preferred. Day shift, on-site work, with potential overtime as business needs dictate. Benefits include PTO and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• ICP Level I written/field exam required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Verify vehicle information based on work order; identify damage, missing parts, and mechanical problems during inspection.
• Prepare and complete all necessary documentation.
• Set up system for day-end; perform day-end procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures.
• Write electronic condition reports (ECR).
• Maintain knowledge of system capabilities and needed software.
• Stay updated on body, mechanical, frame inspection methods.
• Demonstrate safety commitment and participate in safety activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Overtime may be required.
