Job summary

Hawaii Pacific Freight is seeking a Day Tractor Driver to safely operate tractor-trailer units in Honolulu, Hawaii. The role focuses on on-time freight transportation, adherence to DOT regulations, and professional customer interactions.

You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, coordinate with Dispatch, and maintain accurate documentation while upholding safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.
• Experience operating tractor-trailer equipment preferred.
• Ability to meet all DOT, FMCSA, and Company qualification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor-trailer combinations in compliance with federal, state, and company regulations.
• Transport freight between terminals, ports, and customer locations.
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and complete DVIRs.
• Verify freight, trailers, and documentation before departure.
