Invenergy LLC is seeking a Day Shift O&M Technician to operate and maintain a simple cycle power station. You will provide operations, troubleshooting, and maintenance expertise, work with the operations team during start‑up, shutdown, and normal or emergency conditions, and train site personnel. This is a dayshift role with possible nights or weekends.

Base pay is $48.70–$58.35 per hour, plus a 10% bonus. The package may include medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k), profit sharing,

• 2 years' experience in operations leadership or similar role.
• Proficient in MS Office; able to use basic software tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willing to work day shifts with potential nights/weekends.
• Experience in operations and maintenance tasks.
• Able to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in future.

Job Description

Position Overview

As the Day Shift Team Lead O&M Technician, you will provide the organization with a knowledgeable, multi-skilled, operations and troubleshooting expertise who operates and maintains a simple cycle power station. This position is a dayshift position that carries the possibility of working nights or weekends as needed to fill in for open positions.

• Work as a team player performing operations, maintenance, and technical support to achieve safe, cost-effective operation and maintenance of the facility.
• Oversee and work with the operations team during start-up, shutdown, normal and emergency conditions in accordance with operating procedures and instructions to maintain a safe and efficient operation.
• Maintain and trouble-shoot operations equipment and control systems in the power generation facility.
• Train other site personnel as necessary.
• Oversee housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean safe work environment and professional appearance.
• Coordinate and monitor team activities to maintain compliance with all administrative, operational, NERC, EH&S, other regulatory requirements, and procedures.
• Assist the Management Staff with Plant Event Reporting, Root Cause Analysis, Data Collection & outage planning.
• Report Team activities, progress, equipment problems, work requests or unusual conditions in the daily Shift Turnover.
• Review daily reports, logs, and alarm summaries and ensure all information is accurate, and complete, with corrective action taken to resolve identified problems.
• Ensure assigned Preventative Maintenance and Work Orders are distributed to the operations teams and completed in a timely fashion and oversee their completion in EAM maintenance tracking software.
• Ensure the plant has proficient subject matter experts for EAM, E-Logger, and Intelex applications.
• Work with the management team as needed to complete assigned tasks.
• Other duties reasonably assigned.

This is a safety sensitive position. Individuals receiving conditional offers of employment will be subject to drug testing and must receive a negative result to begin working for the company.

Required Skills

• Team Lead - Qualified CRO
• 2 years' experience preferred.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
• Good verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to work dayshifts normally, willing to work nights & weekends as needed.
• Will perform both operations and maintenance.
• Eligible to work in the United States without the need for employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Base Pay

$48.70 - $58.35 USD Hourly

Bonus: 10%

The base pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for the position. Invenergy considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education and skills.
