Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Proven knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general construction trades.
• Experience operating standard maintenance tools, power equipment, and machinery.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to understand, follow, and give oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance repairs on district building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, boilers, fire alarms, carpentry, roofing).
• Inspect and troubleshoot defective machinery using tools, manuals, and parts catalogs.
• Maintain records of maintenance work and costs.
• Lead custodial staff on procedures, safety practices, and tool use.
• Coordinate with administration on repair priorities and safety plans.
