Job summary

The North Penn School District is seeking a Dayshift Custodian to maintain clean, safe, and functional buildings at North Penn High School. You will perform cleaning, grounds, and maintenance tasks and support events as directed by the Facility Supervisor.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED; custodial experience is preferred. Schedule is 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week, with 12-month benefits. Salary is $21.85/hr. Reports to Facility Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Custodial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs inside and outside cleaning and sanitizing services as assigned.
• Performs grounds-related tasks including seeding, watering, planting, mowing, trimming, weeding, etc.
• Perform maintenance repairs and replacements as directed, following approved preventive maintenance procedures.
• Transport, storage and inventory of equipment, materials and supplies as required.
• Restoration of floors and carpeting; perform related cleaning duties as directed.
• Provides setups for banquets, concerts, health fairs, athletic events, and meetings.
• Maintains custodial closets in neat and clean condition.
• Performs snow and ice removal tasks as needed and directed.
