Job summary

Civita Care Bayview in Waterford, CT is seeking an RN Nursing Supervisor for the 7am–3pm shift. This full-time role guides the total nursing care activities under the Director of Nursing Services to ensure high-quality resident care.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license in CT, a nursing degree, and CPR certification. Responsibilities include overseeing staff, maintaining care plans, following physician orders, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must possess an active RN license in CT.
• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited school.
• Must be CPR certified.

Responsibilities

• Direct total nursing care activities during shift under the Director of Nursing Services.
• Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of residents.
• Maintain current resident care plans for all residents under care.
• Follow physician’s orders and render nursing care, treatments, dressings.
• Transcribe physician’s orders promptly and accurately.
• Oversee Charge Nurse and CNA performances; document nursing notes.
