Springfield Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a day shift from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. The role focuses on delivering nursing care within established standards and collaborating with the Nursing Department and specialty care teams.

Applicants should hold an ADN or BSN and an active Vermont RN license (or compact state license). BLS/ACLS/PALS and related certifications are expected; TNCC and ESIs are valued; prior experience in nursing is preferred.

Qualificações

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing.
• Active Vermont RN license in good standing or compact state RN license in good standing.
• Six (6) months of nursing experience is desirable for specialty areas.
• Nursing care knowledge through the lifespan.
• Effective people skills and communication.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products.
• Proficiency in the use of technology in care delivery.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC).
• Basic dysrhythmia.
• De-escalation training (required completion at first course offering after hire).
• Emergency Severity Index (ESI) Course (within one year of hire).
• Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) (preferred).
• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) (preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Provide nursing care to patients following the Scope and Standards of Nursing Practice, within the framework of the Department of Nursing, and in conjunction with Specialty-Specific Standards of Patient Care.
• Utilize the Nursing Process to make nursing judgments and assumes responsibilities for nursing care and documentation to include delegation of work to other levels of employees.
• Ensure practice meets compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing the provision of health care.
