Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the South 2 Memorial campus in Worcester, MA. This on-site, part-time position follows day shift hours and requires competency in the nursing process to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, developing care plans, coordinating discharge planning, supervising care within the unit, and delegating tasks as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS is required for every RN.
• ACLS certification current or in addition to unit-specific requirements.
• BSN highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for delivery and management of patient care.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment per procedure.
• Develops and coordinates plan of care including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care in the unit.
• Delegates tasks appropriately according to competency and job description.
