Job summary

UMass Memorial Health seeks an on-site Registered Nurse for South 6 Memorial Campus in Worcester, MA. The Night Shift position is 36 hours per week, with a 12-hour shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, including weekend/holiday rotation.

The role uses the nursing process to deliver direct patient care, requires MA RN licensure and BLS; ACLS preferred. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities within a large health system.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS is a requirement for every RN.
• BSN degree highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for delivery and management of patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment.
• Develops and coordinates individual plan of care including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care.
• Delegates appropriately to others according to competency level.
