Job summary

Tenet Hospitals is seeking a Registered Nurse in El Paso, TX to provide comprehensive, high-quality nursing care in a day shift. The RN will coordinate patient care using the nursing process, administer medications, and participate in emergency preparedness and code procedures within a hospital setting.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, with 1 year of RN experience for PRN status preferred, and current licensure with BLS and ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides high-quality, safe nursing care to all patients.
• Coordinates and integrates patient care based on the nursing process.
• Directs care according to hospital safety, risk management, QI and infection control standards.
• Coordinates and plans patient care within the prescribed medical regime.
• Administers all medications safely and timely per hospital policy.
• Performs HICS responsibilities during emergencies/disasters.
• Knows hospital emergency codes and adheres to policies for each code.
