Job summary

The University of Virginia (UVA) Community Health is seeking a Registered Nurse OSC in Culpeper, VA. This role leads the nursing team in perioperative services, supports patient care across preadmission, OR, and PACU, and collaborates with physicians to deliver evidence-based care.

Qualified candidates will hold an RN license, have nursing education, and preferably 1 year of relevant experience. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required.
• 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Current RN licensure required; CPI certification within three months for specific units.

Responsibilities

• Leads the healthcare team by establishing relationships with patients and families.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.
• Perform circulating nurse duties in the OR and assist anesthesia staff.
• Coordinate preadmission, PACU, and postoperative nursing care and teaching.
• Perform nursing assessments, document records, and ensure patient safety and privacy.
