Job summary

Orlando Health, Inc. is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to assess and treat patients with breathing disorders. You will initiate therapeutic procedures, maintain records, and operate respiratory care equipment across care settings.

Responsibilities include ventilator management, ABG analysis, documentation, and collaboration with the healthcare team. Licensure as RRT and NBRC credentialing are required with BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.

Qualifications

• Requires AS in Respiratory Care or Cardiopulmonary Sciences.
• Active Florida RRT license and NBRC credentialing.
• Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• Knowledge of unit policies and patient age-specific care.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, treats and cares for patients with breathing disorders.
• Operates and maintains respiratory therapy equipment.
• Maintains accurate patient records and documentation.
• Demonstrates competency in respiratory therapeutics and use of ventilators and diagnostics.
• Instructs clinical practicum students.
