Qualifications

• AS degree in respiratory care or equivalent.
• Active Florida RRT license and NBRC credential.
• Current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification; ALS as applicable.
• Preferred: active AARC/FSRC membership.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, treats, and cares for patients with breathing disorders.
• Performs and documents respiratory procedures and analyzes data.
• Maintains airway support, ventilation, and gas exchange management.
• Communicates with the healthcare team and educates practicum students.
• Provides care across non-critical, intermediate, and ICU units.
