Job summary

Heartland Senior Living is seeking a Resident Assistant or NAR to provide personal care and health-related services to residents in Minnesota. The role reports to the Housing Manager and emphasizes compassionate, team-based care to support residents’ wellbeing.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, dressing, daily activities, medication assistance as delegated by the RN, and documenting changes in residents' condition. Excellent English communication and reliability are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Pass state-required background study form.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal cares (hair shampoo, shower, lotions, nail and foot care) as instructed.
• Assist with dressing, grooming and oral care.
• Help residents use hearing aids and glasses.
• Support residents to reach and maintain independence.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by RN.
• Observe changes and report to RN.
