Job summary

Olmsted Medical Center is seeking staff for a 0.75 FTE Day Shift (7:00 am to 5:30 pm) in Rochester, MN. Starting pay ranges from $20.40 to $29.12 per hour, based on experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, and disability coverage.

Preferred candidates have CNA experience and BLS certification within 90 days. The role includes greeting patients, assisting with treatment support, supply management, and front-desk duties at the Rochester Northwest

Qualifications

• Prior computer experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Vital sign measurement (training available).
• CNA experience preferred.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Strong verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and visitors to the department in a professional and friendly manner.
• Answers patient questions and provides directional needs to navigate within the department.
• Attends to patient treatment needs and/or treatment support under the direct supervision of therapists and assistants.
• Attends education and training seminars as assigned in Cornerstone and/or by department leadership.
• Orders and stocks department supplies using Oracle and Beckley’s platforms; stocks supplies first-in, first-out to minimize waste across locations.
• Orders specialty patient equipment as directed by department manager or lead.
• Performs basic rooming standards: blood pressure, weight, height, temperature when directed by therapist.
• Conducts departmental cleaning per infection control guidelines and timelines.
• Rotates to desk space to assist with patient care support.
• Rochester Northwest Clinic serves as Information Desk for patients and directs to Radiology and SMAP.
• Other duties as assigned.
