Job summary

Olmsted Medical Center is seeking a PRN - Day Shift Registered Nurse in Rochester, MN. Starting pay ranges from $35.01 to $48.15 per hour based on experience. External candidates typically start within the minimum to 3/4 of the range depending on experience.

The role requires completion of an accredited nursing program, MN RN license, and BLS; ACLS is location dependent. One year of nursing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited professional nursing program.
• Current Minnesota Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification (Northwest Clinic and Hospital locations only)
• Minimum of one year nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides a comprehensive assessment of the health status of a patient through data collection, analysis, and synthesis to establish a baseline and care plan.
• Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and coordinate an integrated plan of care.
• Develops nursing interventions to be integrated into the plan of care.
• Implements nursing care through independent actions.
• Implements interventions delegated by a licensed healthcare provider.
• Delegates nursing tasks to implement the plan of care.
• Provides safe and effective nursing care.
• Promotes a safe and therapeutic environment.
• Advocates for patients' best interests.
• Evaluates responses to interventions and the plan of care.
• Collaborates with other professionals across care settings and communities.
• Provides health promotion, disease prevention, care coordination, and case finding.
• Designs and implements teaching plans based on patient need.
