Job summary

Mount Regis Center in Salem, VA is hiring experienced Registered Nurses (RN) for full-time day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, totaling 36 hours per week. The role features rotating weekends and nights with shift differentials of $2.50 on weekdays (3 PM–11 PM) and varying weekend rates (7 AM–3 PM and 3 PM–11 PM).

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Current RN license in the state of employment.
One year of nursing experience; psychiatric/behavioral/substance use nursing a plus.
CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required.
First aid may be required per state or facility requirements.

Responsibilities

Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients' physical and behavioral health needs.
Develop and implement nursing care plans.
Maintain medical records and educate patients and families about conditions.
Administer medications per orders and document administration.
Communicate with patients, visitors, and staff to ensure coordinated care.
