Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking candidates for full-time railcar repair roles. You will repair and inspect diverse railcars and tank cars, following FRA/AAR rules, safety protocols, and quality standards in an outdoor, hands-on environment.

You should have a high school diploma or GED and be comfortable with heavy tools, outdoor work, and basic math. Previous Carman/railcar repair experience is a plus; AWS E7018 welding is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must read safety rules, manuals and blueprints accurately.
• Basic math skills and ability to follow procedures.
• Must pass fitness tests and drug/alcohol screenings.
• Outdoor, physically demanding, year-round work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform railcar repairs per FRA and AAR rules.
• Inspect railcars before and after work.
• Adhere to safety and quality programs.
• Keep work area clean and organized per regulations.
• Operate tools and welding equipment as required.
• Assist in disassembly and reassembly of railcars.
• Follow work orders and communicate effectively within team.
