Job summary

Guardian Rail, LLC in Roseburg, Oregon, is hiring Repair Technicians to inspect and repair railcars and tank cars using welding and mechanical skills. Qualifications

• High-school diploma or GED required.
• Prev experience as Carman or Railcar Repair Technician desirable.
• Ability to read safety rules, manuals and blueprints.
• Basic mechanical knowledge and use of common tools.
• Capable of passing fitness-for-duty and drug screenings.

Responsibilities

• Repair railcars or tank cars in compliance with FRA and AAR rules.
• Perform pre- and post-inspections of railcars.
• Work with basic mechanics, grinding, painting and decaling as needed.
• Operate hand and power tools, welding equipment and cutting torches.
• Maintain organized work area and follow safety protocols.
