Job summary

MITER Brands is seeking a Day Shift Supervisor to oversee the insulated glass fabrication team from 6:00am to 2:30pm, Monday–Friday, with overtime as needed. The role emphasizes safety, quality, productivity, and cost control in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will lead by example, train and coach staff, manage production records, and implement process improvements while ensuring on-time delivery and compliance with company standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of front-line leadership in manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, drawings, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Leads by example with respect to Safety, Integrity, Efficiency, and Creativity.
• Schedules and directs team members within the production line for safety and productivity.
• Provides feedback and coaching for performance opportunities and growth.
• Cross-train and rotate team members.
• Maintains time and production records daily.
• Ensure integrity of work produced by the line.
• Suggests process improvements to increase efficiency and quality.
• Maintain safety through hazard reporting and investigations.
