Job summary

TEMPO Employment Services in Presque Isle is seeking an organized Assistant Production Planner to join a growing manufacturing team. You will coordinate production schedules, materials, and resources to keep operations running smoothly and ensure customer orders are completed on time.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will work with Production, Purchasing, Quality, Maintenance, and other departments to monitor schedules, address delays, and support efficient workflow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 3+ years of production planning or scheduling experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems preferred.
• Precision metal manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on orders, forecasts, materials and capacity.
• Use ERP/MRP systems to release and track manufacturing orders.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to ensure materials are available when needed.
• Address scheduling changes, downtime, and resource needs with Production and Maintenance.
• Monitor production progress and identify potential delays or bottlenecks.
• Track production metrics and prepare reports.
