Job summary

Specialty Building Products is seeking a Production Associate to join our Millwork Sales team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The role focuses on loading, unloading, sorting, staging, transporting and handling products that move in and out of the facility.

7am start time and a values-based culture drive daily activity. Responsibilities include reading routings, assembling components, labeling, packing, tracking on boards, and maintaining safety.SBP offers comprehensive benefits to

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required.
Prior lumber experience preferred.
Forklift experience and certification preferred, but not required.
Must have basic math and analytical skills.
Must be computer literate, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Self-starter and proactive with initiative.

Responsibilities

Reads routing and performs work as assigned by department supervisor.
Sews, cuts, clips, hooks or otherwise assembles the materials to produce sub-assemblies or finished product from raw materials.
Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes.
Track production on schedule boards.
Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
Place finished goods on the designated pallet.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
