Job summary
AdventHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse in Chicago to assess patients’ physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs and develop individualized care plans with the care team. You will perform IVs, wound care, medication administration, and other nursing procedures while advocating for patient safety and rights.

Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Experience with electronic health records preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assesses patients' physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation and review of records.
- Develops and implements patient care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
- Demonstrates competency in therapeutic and diagnostic interventions (IVs, wound care, meds, catheterization).
- Advocates for patient safety and rights.
- Provides patient/family education and evaluates learning outcomes.
