Job summary

Baptist Health in Fleming Island, FL seeks a Registered Nurse for Pre-Op/Phase II Recovery Services. This full-time day shift (8:00 AM-6:30 PM) includes a self-scheduled call rotation with a 40-minute response time to calls.

Requirements: ASN; BA/BS preferred; 2–3 years Surgical Services and Critical Care; BLS required; CMSRN preferred; RN license. You’ll coordinate care with teams and educate families in the plan of care.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years Surgical Services experience.
• 2-3 years Critical Care Nursing experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• RN licensure in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Providing for patient needs using the nursing process and mission.
• Supervision of care by supportive personnel and coordination with ancillary services.
• Involve patients and families in developing an individualized plan of care.
• Education of patients and families about disease and care plan.
• Coordinate and prepare rooms/cases; assess patient care needs and anticipate needs.
• Position requires call rotation.
