Job summary

Thrive Freeze Dry in Oak Creek, WI is hiring a Plant Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift (6pm–6am). You will install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment to support safety, quality and output.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 4+ years in manufacturing, and experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems; ammonia/refrigeration and HVAC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma/GED and mechanical inclination.
• Associates in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance desirable.
• 4+ years of manufacturing experience.
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial skills with some ammonia / refrigeration and HVAC.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs during production and perform scheduled maintenance on packaging equipment and machines.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform maintenance.
• Diagnose problems, replace/repair parts, test and adjust.
• Perform preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
• Ensure safety regulations and maintain clean, orderly work areas.
• Perform on-call responsibilities as required.
