Job summary

Rosenboom is seeking an Assistant Plant Manager to support daily plant operations, drive safety, quality, and on-time delivery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will partner with the Plant Manager to develop people, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure production goals are met through strong coaching, lean practices, and data-driven decision making. This role demands hands-on leadership and a passion for operational excellence.

Qualifications

• At least five years of related work experience.
• Champion LEAN Manufacturing, Quick Response Manufacturing (QRM), and ISO initiatives.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, production planning, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Ability to analyze operational challenges, make sound decisions, and implement effective solutions that support business objectives.
• Develop people, support teams, and drive results through coaching and training.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate production, processing, and distribution activities to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Provide leadership, supervision, and coaching to supervisors and other leadership personnel to build high-performing teams.
• Champion LEAN Manufacturing, Quick Response Manufacturing (QRM), and ISO initiatives to improve operational effectiveness, product quality, and efficiency.
• Analyze operational data, optimize staffing and resources, resolve production issues, and collaborate across departments to meet company goals.
• Demonstrates a commitment to servant leadership by developing people, supporting teams, and driving results through influence and collaboration.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, production planning, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Ability to analyze operational challenges, make sound decisions, and implement effective solutions that support business objectives.
• Effectively communicates across all organizational levels, maintains accurate documentation, and develops talent through coaching and training.
