Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to weld 2" extra strong carbon steel pipe in 6G position.
• TIG (GTAW) welding passes in uphill progression.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Ability to perform basic math and geometry.
• Ability to follow detailed written or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble pipe components by tacking them in place prior to welding.
• Verify length, material, type, and grade of pipe and fittings prior to tacking.
• Weld joints and inspect welds, making corrections as needed.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
