Job summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking an RN Surgery at St Mary's Medical Center in Blue Springs, MO. You will provide direct and indirect perioperative care, coordinating with surgeons and anesthesiologists to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes.

Requirements include a valid RN license, BLS, ACLS and PALS with 1+ year perioperative experience; CNOR and BSN are preferred. This is a full-time, day-shift position.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Current ACLS (AHA) certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Current PALS (AHA) certificate within 30 days of hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of one year perioperative experience.
• CNOR certification preferred.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care in the peri-operative setting using nursing process.
• Coordinate care with surgeon and anesthesiologist; direct OR staff to maintain standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure continual, quality patient care and efficient flow.
• Adhere to regulations, standards, and hospital policies and procedures.
• Participate in performance improvement activities, meetings, and in-services.
• Serve as a resource for other personnel as appropriate.
