Qualifications
- Thorough understanding of hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records.
- Five or more years of current clinical experience is preferred.
- Nursing leadership certifications are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manages assigned direct reports including recruitment, hiring, coaching and performance evaluations.
- Maintains staff education and competencies through ongoing training.
- Ensures unit readiness for audits and surveys and regulatory compliance.
- Oversees staffing schedules to ensure adequate patient coverage and safety.
- Drives service program development and cost-effective resource management.
- Supports a culture of safety and continuous learning.
