Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Nursing required.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
- Master's degree in Nursing preferred.
- RN licensure in Florida required or active pending if licensed in another state.
Responsibilities
- Rounds and assesses patient care units to evaluate patient conditions, identify staffing needs, and provide support to caregivers.
- Advises and directs nursing personnel, responds to Code Blue situations, and manages clinical emergencies.
- Acts as liaison for patient movement and bed assignments, promoting cost-effective management of staffing, equipment, and supplies.
- Represents nursing administration during off-shifts, authorizes consent or treatment during admissions, and serves as incident commander for disasters. Provides direction and collaborates with hospital leadership during significant events.
