Job summary

Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, MO is seeking a Catering Associate to handle patient meal service for the Department of Food and Nutrition. You will manage menu selections, assemble trays, and deliver meals on assigned units, while recording intake and calories as required.

Day shift, 36–40 hours weekly, with weekend/holiday rotation as required. You will coordinate with nursing to obtain diet orders, respond to patient and family needs, and maintain an organized galley.

Qualifications

• No Experience Preferred Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Delivers patient meals to assigned areas, documents meals and calorie intake and rounds on patients in accordance to department expectations.
• Assembles meal trays and menus in accordance to guidelines.
• Communicates patient diets, delivery of meals and special requests with patient care team.
• Maintains an organized and stocked galley.
• Preforms Other Responsibilities as Assigned.
