Job summary

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• Graduate of a PCT program with at least 6 months hospital experience.
• CNA graduate with EKG & Phlebotomy course; PCT certification eligible with hospital experience.
• PCT Certification through the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) with at least 6 months hospital experience.
• BLS or Heartsaver CPR/AED certification required upon entry.

• Assists in data collection for Quality and Performance Improvement.
• Supports nurse in clinical duties and patient care tasks.
• Assists with admission, transfer and discharge procedures.

• Responds to patient call lights and requests for assistance promptly.
• Completes mandatory education requirements for patient care technicians.
