Job summary

INTEGRIS Health Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City, OK, seeks a day shift, full-time Patient Care Tech for the Intermediate Care Unit. You will perform delegated direct patient care under RN supervision, with responsibilities including basic care, safety, and treatments, aligned to population-specific competencies.

Qualified candidates will have current BLS or complete within 90 days and be able to communicate effectively in English.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification or completion within 90 days.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
• Department specific competencies will be completed in the applicable department during the orientation process.

Responsibilities

• Performs personal patient care tasks (mouth care, making beds, baths, perineal care, hair care, shaving, emptying bedpans/urinals).
• Assists with patient safety (ID bands, fall protocol, restraints, positioning, rest environment, reporting incidents).
• Performs treatments (urinary catheter care, enema, sitz baths, compression, ambulation) and may retrieve/transport medications.
