Qualifications

• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BCLS) may be required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate accurate and clinically relevant information during handoffs with patients, families, and staff.
• Ensure necessary information is shared among involved parties for optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide safe and effective patient care under licensed nurse supervision.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to the licensed nurse.
• Demonstrate age-appropriate communication and sensitivity to language/cultural barriers.
• Maintain real-time documentation of patient care.
