Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 2 years laboratory experience preferred.
• Experience in clinical/reference laboratory settings preferred.
• Experience with data entry and using a laboratory computer system.

Responsibilities

• Resolve issues with orders/specimens and respond to test results inquiries.
• Pre-analytical specimen handling, accessioning, and preparation for analysis.
• Receive/deliver specimens and maintain proper specimen designation.
• Handle CLIA waived testing where applicable and maintain safety standards.
• Maintain inventory, data entry, and equipment housekeeping.
