Responsibilities

• Set up and operate respiratory equipment for diagnosis and treatment.
• Administer gases and medications and manage therapy modes.
• Respond to emergencies and assist transport of ventilated patients.
• Advise on arterial blood gas results.
• May act as charge when Respiratory Supervisor is absent.
• Participate in departmental in-service and quality programs.
