Job summary

Ardent Health Services' Hillcrest Hospital South in Tulsa, OK is hiring a day shift, full-time Outpatient Surgery Registered Nurse. You will deliver high-quality patient care using the nursing process, assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate, coordinating care with the surgical team.

The role emphasizes collaboration, patient safety, and adherence to standards. RN licensure in Oklahoma and BLS are required, ACLS/PALS preferred; experience in surgical services recommended.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• RN licensure in Oklahoma.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Preferred: 1 year of experience in surgical services.
• ACLS and PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse in Outpatient is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• He/she is responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care of critically ill patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards, collaborating with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes, serving as a resource when directed, utilizing knowledge of patient’s age and cultural diversity into the provision of care, and contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrates positive patient care outcomes.
